1. Scope of work
Rush Hour Plumbing Pty Ltd provides licensed plumbing, drainage and gas-fitting services within Western Sydney, NSW. Each job is delivered by or under the supervision of a licence holder (NSW Contractor Licence 479878C, NSW Fair Trading). The scope of any specific job is set out in the written quote.
2. Quotes
Quotes are job-based, not hourly. Once we have inspected the site or have enough detail to scope the work, we provide a written quote with the price and inclusions. Quotes are valid for six (6) months from the date issued unless otherwise stated. Variations to the agreed scope may attract additional fees, which we will agree in writing before commencing the variation.
3. Payment terms
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, payment is due on completion of the work. We accept bank transfer and card payment. Larger jobs may require a deposit, which will be set out in the quote. Overdue invoices may attract reasonable recovery costs.
4. Workmanship warranty
We provide a workmanship warranty of twelve (12) months from the date of job completion, unless otherwise specified per job in the written quote. The warranty covers defects in our workmanship. It does not cover damage caused by misuse, fair wear and tear, or work performed by other parties on the same fixtures or system after our work is complete. Manufacturer warranties on supplied parts (for example, hot water units) apply in addition and are governed by the manufacturer's terms.
5. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or remedies that apply to you under the Australian Consumer Law, including the consumer guarantees in Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth). To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any loss or damage arising from our work is limited to repair, re-supply, or refund of the work performed.
6. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes will be dealt with in the courts of New South Wales.
